One thing my dad believed in and taught his five children was the word of God. He sent us inspirational emails that encouraged us, motivated us, comforted us, and grounded us more in God’s love. Though he his now present with the Lord, I want to share with you my father’s emails. I hope they help you as much as they have helped us.

1. There is Joy and Peace in Believing God's Word

   In the book of Romans 15:13 states '' now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost". Why are we filled with sadness, depression, hopelessness and other negative emotions and thoughts? Because the devil is attacking our belief system, the devil knows that if you really, truly believe all things are possible. It doesn't matter what it look like or feel like if God said it in His Word, it will happen. So, claim what the Word of God says about you and your family. Rejoice and be at peace after you believe it and receive in your spirit. Do these seven things 1. Hear the Word, 2.Believe the Word, 3.Receive the Word, 4. Submit to the Word, 5.Obey the Word, 6.Act upon the Word, and 7.Keep the Word. Keep joy and peace is your everyday, in your home, work place, speak joy and peace in your life now in Jesus name. If you have it already, keep it. You may also be filled and abound with hope through the power of the Holy Ghost. All of this is ours, if only we just believe.

2. The Lord is With Thee

   In the book of Judges 6:12 the angel came to Gideon and said" the Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valour". Gideon was told by the Lord that he would lead God’s army in battle against the Midianites. Gideon appeared to be fearful and doubtful and even asked God to perform certain super natural things to prove this was all true. God did what Gideon asked. My point is this, the angel called Gideon a mighty man of valour, the angel saw his future. The Lord is looking at our future, and we are mighty men and women of valour. Sometime we might not feel like it or even look like it, but we are. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. II Corinthians 10:4 Use your weapons.

3. My Body Is A Temple of God

   I Corinthian 3:16 states " Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. I do not think we really understand the power and implications of this statement. The presence of God lives in us and where the Spirit is the Father is there, and Jesus is there. We have a super natural Spirit living inside us, making us super natural. But most of us might not realize the full potential of His power. Is it because we do not know how or we really do not know the Holy Spirit, the person? Many are reaching out to find power, reach in. Inside of us is the greatest power in this world and the world to come. Get to know the Holy Spirit; He's your healer, comforter, teacher, keeper, reminder, and guider and so much more. I am seeking to know this Spirit inside of me, do the same.

4. Life is all about Love

   St. John 3:16 states that for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, and who so ever believes on shall not perish but have everlasting life. God loved so He gave the very best He had. Love means giving up ---- yielding my preference, comfort, goals, security, money, energy, or time for the benefit of someone else. The best use of Life is love. The best expression of love is time. The best time to love is now. Where do you spend your time? Who do you spend your time with? Who or what gets the most of your time? 5. Rejoice for Evermore

   The joy of the Lord is my strength. The bible tells us over and over again to rejoice. Philippians 4:4 states “Rejoice in the Lord always.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16 states “Rejoice evermore.” Roman 12:12 states “Rejoicing in hope; rejoicing is victory in praise to God.” The sound of victory is defeat for the devil. When you are going through your worse problem shout out, I WILL REJOICE! In the name of Jesus watch things begin to change.

6. Let God Arise

   In Psalm 68:1, the words ring out loud and clear LET GOD ARISE and his enemies be scattered. I said these words over and over something begin to rise up in me. When the power of God arises in you, your enemies can not stand the heat, they will flee. In the 2nd verse it talks about wax melting before intense heat, God is the consuming fire. Let God consume your problems, worries, enemies, fears or whatever. LET GOD ARISE.

7. Behold the eyes of the Lord

   In the book of II Chronicles chapter 16: 9, it conveys three points: 1. The eyes of the Lord run to fro throughout the whole earth, 2.To show Himself strong , and 3. On the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Look to the Lord and He will show Himself strong for you. Please absorb this in your spirit. He is here.

8. To Everything there is a Season

   Ecclesiastes 3: 1 states that to every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the season. What season are you in? What time is it? What is your purpose in life. Can you answer these questions honestly? Do you really know? Speak your season into existence, speak your time into existence, time to walk in victory, time for my blessing to run after you, time to know my true purpose, time for me to walk in deliverance in every area of my life, and so on, Praise the Lord. The power is in your mouth and in your heart Roman 10:8. But what saith it? The WORD IS NIGH THEE, EVEN IN THY MOUTH AND IN THY HEART: that is, the word of faith, which we preach.

9. You are Rich

   II Corinthian 8: 9 states “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich". If you can believe the Word of God you can receive this promise. Sometime we just do not take advantage of what Jesus did for us. He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His strips we are healed. If you believe Jesus to save your soul, can you believe the same Jesus for your healing. He can cause you to be prosperous.

10. Along Side

    Few years ago on the East Coast a sail boat was toss by the high waves. A Coast Guard Cutter was dispatch but it could not rescue the sailboat because of the rough waves, so the Coast Guard Cutter positioned itself along side of the sail boat taken the brunt of the waves. This is what the Holy Spirit does for us when we are in the storms of life; He positions Himself along side of us. ST. JOHN 14:16

11. An Old Bottle Can’t Hold New Wine

    In the book of St. Luke 5: 37, Jesus speaks of putting new wine in a new bottle and the new wine would be preserved. However, if new wine would be put in an old bottle; the bottle would break and the wine would be lost. Now please understand that the old bottle represent old unprofitable attitudes, old habits, old negative mentality, old problems and old doubt. How can you receive a new anointing, new power, new enlightenment with and old bottle mentality? God knows that if He put new wine in an old bottle it would be wasted. God will not waste anything. So if you want a new anointing, new power, change the bottle.

12. Born of God

    I John 5:1 states that whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God. I John 5:4 states that whosoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world. I John 5:5 states “But he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God overcometh the world.” We are overcomers because we are born of God , walk in it.

13. More Precious Than Gold

    Is there anything more precious than Gold? Gold is in great demand. I Peter 1:6-7 states that the trying of your faith is much more precious than gold. We should rejoice when going through troubles. In order for us to pass the test, we must rejoice in troubles no matter how we feel. So if you do not want to go through the same test, rejoice.

14. The Lord Will Fight For You

    In the book of Exodus 14:13-14, the Israelites were pinned down at the Red Sea, nowhere to go; mean while, the Egyptians were in hot pursuit. They were in a bad situation, it appeared that they had no hope. Have you ever been in a bad situation like this? Trust in the Lord with all your heart and he will fight for you.

15. With My Whole Heart

    If you want GOD really to move for you seek Him with your whole heart. Praise GOD with your whole heart. David stated in Psalm 9:1 that I will praise Him with my whole heart. David stated in Psalm 119:10 that I will seek Him with my whole heart. GOD wants us speak to HIM from the heart, so praise Him with your whole heart.
